Last week, I start back up at the gym.  I ran three days on the treadmill last week.  Saturday, I ran two miles.  I think my treadmill was broken cause it said I ran it in 34 minutes.  DB said I was gone for about two hours.  All I did was run on the treadmill, so there must have been something wrong with it.

I’ve been doing the JM 30 day Shred sporadically, thanks to the craziness that surrounds the holidays.  I like it a lot though.  I have made improvements.  I can make it through most of the workout without stopping now.  My size 7 jeans are getting looser and I am almost on to the third hole on my belt.  I have to admit, DD is the main reason for my slimming down.  Carrying her around is a workout in itself!

Hopefully, I’ll be able to start back at the gym soon.

 

First workout 7 December 2009

I’m trying out the Jillian Michaels 30 Day workout dvd and running.  I don’t feel up to working out in the gym just yet.  I will be running at the gym though.  I just don’t want people seeing me stuggling with the 5lbs weights.  I’ll work my way up to 15-20 lbs weights and then start working out in the gym.

I still want to take it easy with my workouts.  The doctor gave me the go ahead to begin working out again a couple of weeks ago.  Having not worked out in a good 10 months, I’m extremely wary about over-exerting myself.
